I knew I was destined for great things when I was appointed the assistant to the auxiliary secretary of the Coin Collecting Club as a High School Freshman. That event has laid the foundation for me to ascend to become a Civil Servant. For twenty two years I have been a Revenue Agent, meeting citizens of our country and evaluating their tax compliance. I also have opportunities presented to me by NTEU. After having successful representation by NTEU, I thought a proper thank you would be to become a steward for a couple of years; now, after a dozen or more years, I am still a steward with a background in grievances, training, serving pizza and counseling employees as well as being involved in NTEU's legislative program. I attended my first legislative conference in 1994 and saw the vision of what an effective chapter program could do to help my co-workers in achieving the respect and dignity they deserve.
